The majority of 150 LPM and 200 LPM linear diaphragm air pumps
on the market utilize 2 pump modules within 1 housing, or two air pumps manifolded
together. Why do manufacturers build such
a “Frankenstein” version of two pumps seemingly cobbled into one? The truth is, they haven’t figured out how to
create a 1 module high flow linear diaphragm air pump that has a respectable
service life.
As the inventor of the linear diaphragm air pump, HIBLOW is
the only manufacturer that has the engineering capability to build higher flow
linear air pumps with only one pump module/ motor – while providing respectable
service life. The efficiency of the
motor and larger robust diaphragms enables the aerators to produce high air
flow at pressure levels that smaller two-motor units can’t achieve.
While the 1 module design is more aesthetically appealing,
it also offers some practical advantages.
The HP-150 and HP-200 aerators fit under standard enclosures. Servicing the pumps is also easier and more
cost effective. Many of the wear components
are the same as the HP-100LL and HP-120LL and there is only 1 set of diaphragms
to replace after years of use – not 2 sets like the competition.
HP-150/200 Applications:
-
Residential septic aerobic treatment systems
-
Commercial aerobic treatment systems
-
Air powered mixing for lift/ pump stations and
wet wells
-
Campground wastewater treatment plants
-
Backyard/ farm pond aeration
-
Retention ponds/ lagoon aeration
-
Bubble packaging equipment
